Cranberry-Apple Dump Cake is a ridiculously easy dessert that delivers big on flavor. With tart cranberries, sweet apples, and a buttery cake topping, this treat is perfect for holidays, potlucks, or a simple weeknight indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 1 (21-ounce) can apple pie filling
  • 1 (14-ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 box yellow or spice cake mix (about 15.25 ounces)
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Directions

  1. Prepare Baking Dish
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Layer Fruit
    • Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.
    • Spoon the cranberry sauce over the apples and spread gently.
    • Sprinkle with ground cinnamon for added warmth.
  3. Add Cake Mix
    • Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the fruit layer.
  4. Drizzle Butter
    • Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix, ensuring most of the surface is moistened.
    • Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts on top, if using.
  5. Bake
    • Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  6. Serve
