If you’re looking for a way to elevate your deviled eggs, you’ve come to the right place. The addition of tuna to the traditional deviled egg mixture gives these bites an extra layer of richness, while the creamy yolk base keeps them light and airy. Whether you’re a fan of deviled eggs or just love tuna, these are sure to be a hit. Not a fan of tuna? Don’t worry, they’re still delicious without it!

Kitchen Equipment Needed:

  • Medium saucepan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Fork or whisk
  • Spoon or piping bag
  • Serving platter

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Paprika, for garnish
  • Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish (optional)

Directions:

  1. Cook the eggs: Place the eggs in a medium saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat, cover, and let sit for 10-12 minutes. Afterward, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool completely.
  2. Prepare the filling: Peel the cooled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Add the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, sweet pickle relish, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mash the mixture together with a fork or whisk until smooth and well combined.
  3. Fill the eggs: Spoon or pipe the tuna mixture back into the egg whites, dividing it evenly among the halves.
  4. Garnish and serve: Sprinkle the filled eggs with paprika and garnish with fresh parsley or chives, if desired. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
