Kitchen Equipment Needed
- Muddler
- Measuring jigger
- Cocktail shaker
- Tall glass
- Stirring spoon
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 10 fresh mint leaves
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 2 ounces white rum
- Club soda
- Ice cubes
- Lime wedges and additional mint leaves for garnish
Directions
- Muddle the Strawberries and Mint:
- In a tall glass, add the sliced strawberries, mint leaves, lime juice, and sugar. Use a muddler to gently mash the ingredients together to release the flavors.
- Add the Rum:
- Pour in the white rum and stir to combine.
- Add Ice and Top with Club Soda:
- Fill the glass with ice cubes and top off with club soda. Stir gently to combine.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Garnish with a lime wedge and additional mint leaves. Serve immediately.
