One Pot Creamy Parmesan Chicken

This One Pot Creamy Parmesan Chicken is a restaurant-quality dish you can make at home with minimal effort.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
  • Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • Cook the Garlic: In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Make the Sauce: Add the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  • Add Parmesan: Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Combine Chicken and Sauce: Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
