Servings 8 biscuit bombs

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough 16 oz, 8 biscuits
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese cubed, about 8 cubes
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese optional
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
  • marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Separate the biscuit dough into 8 individual biscuits and flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands to about a 3-inch diameter.
  • Place one cube of mozzarella cheese in the center of each biscuit and carefully wrap the biscuit dough around the cheese, pinching the edges to seal it into a small ball.
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning, brush each biscuit ball with the butter mixture, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
  • Arrange the biscuit bombs on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart, and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and puffed.
  • Let the biscuit bombs cool slightly, then sprinkle with fresh parsley for a pop of color and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
