  • Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter.
  • Mix Together: Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix. Fold in the cooked sausage and shredded cheese, along with any optional add-ins.
  • Fill Muffin Tin: Evenly distribute the batter into the muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
  • Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Cool and Serve: Allow the muffins to cool for a few minutes in the tin before transferring them to a wire rack. Serve warm or store for later.
