Ingredients
  

For the Marinade

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme

For the Chicken

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Instructions
 

Marination

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the chicken breasts and coat them thoroughly in the marinade.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor.

Cooking

  • Preheat your grill or a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade and let excess liquid drip off.
  • Grill or pan-sear the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Serving

  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the heat and let it rest for a couple of minutes before slicing.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

For perfect results, let the chicken marinate longer for enhanced flavor, use fresh herbs for a vibrant taste, and avoid overcooking by checking with a meat thermometer. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
