  • 1 pound Halal chicken nuggets (frozen or homemade) You can use store-bought or homemade nuggets.
  • 4 large tortillas or wraps Consider using whole wheat or spinach tortillas for added health benefits.
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • ½ cup ranch dressing or your favorite sauce Feel free to substitute with your preferred sauce.

Cooking the Chicken Nuggets

  • Preheat your oven according to the package instructions if you’re using frozen nuggets.
  • Place the chicken nuggets on a baking sheet and cook them for the recommended time until they are golden brown and crispy, usually about 15-20 minutes.
  • Optionally, you can deep-fry the nuggets for an extra crispy finish.

Preparing the Wraps

  • While the nuggets are cooking, gather your tortillas or wraps and lay them out on a clean surface.

Assembling the Wraps

  • Once the chicken nuggets are cooked, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool slightly.
  • Place a handful of shredded lettuce on each tortilla, followed by diced tomatoes, and a sprinkle of cheese.
  • Add 4-5 chicken nuggets on top of the veggies.
  • Drizzle ranch dressing or your preferred sauce over the chicken nuggets.
  • Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it tightly from the bottom up.
  • Slice the wraps in half and serve with extra sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

For a low-carb version, consider swapping out the tortillas for lettuce wraps. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes for best results.
