Easy Cream Cheese Bites

These Easy Cream Cheese Bites are the perfect solution for when you need a quick dessert that’s equally delightful and indulgent.

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Hand or stand mixer
  • Baking sheet (if baking is required)
  • Silicone mold or mini muffin tin (optional)
  • Spatula or spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package of mini phyllo shells or graham cracker crust optional
  • Fresh berries chocolate chips, or chopped nuts for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Filling:
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Use a hand or stand mixer to beat until smooth and creamy.
  • Assemble the Bites:
  • If using phyllo shells, spoon the cream cheese mixture into each shell.
  • For graham cracker crust bites, press the crumbs into a mold or mini muffin tin to form a base, then add the cream cheese filling.
  • If no crust is used, shape the cream cheese mixture into small balls and roll in nuts, coconut, or cookie crumbs.
  • Add Garnishes:
  • Top each bite with your choice of garnish: fresh fruit, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or a drizzle of melted chocolate.
  • Chill or Bake:
  • Chill: For no-bake bites, refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Bake: If your recipe requires a baked crust, bake according to the package instructions and let cool before adding the filling.
  • Serve:
  • Arrange on a platter and enjoy! These bites are best served chilled.
