Chili Mac and Cheese
Chili Mac and Cheese is the ultimate comfort food, combining the rich, hearty flavors of chili with the creamy, cheesy goodness of macaroni.
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion finely diced
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can 8 oz tomato sauce
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cups elbow macaroni uncooked
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Optional toppings: sliced green onions sour cream, or jalapeños
Brown ground beef in a skillet.
Add onion, garlic, and spices, cooking until fragrant.
Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, and broth. Add pasta.
Simmer until pasta is tender.
Stir in cheeses until creamy.
