Sticky Bun Breakfast Ring is a delightfully indulgent breakfast treat that’s filled and topped with a dreamy caramel glaze and pecans. It’s not heavy or overly sweet either. I think it’s a perfect brunch or holiday breakfast, and if you’re not a fan of pecans, feel free to omit them. It will still be undeniably delicious! If you’re looking for a light & airy breakfast treat that’s not overly sweet, you’ve come to the right place.

When you make soft and fluffy biscuit dough and pair it with a gooey caramel and pecan topping, you get the perfect breakfast ring. The addition of caramel just sends it over the top. I’ve really been in the mood for cozy mornings, and this dreamy breakfast ring reminds me of family gatherings and holiday breakfasts. Not a fan of pecans? Don’t worry, it’s still delicious without them.

  2. Prepare the Sugar Mixture:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  3. Coat the Biscuits:
    • Open the cans of biscuit dough and separate each biscuit.
    • Cut each biscuit into quarters.
    • Roll each biscuit piece in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until well coated.
    • Layer the coated biscuit pieces evenly in the prepared bundt pan.
  4. Make the Caramel Sauce:
    • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
    • Add the brown sugar and heavy cream, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
    • Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then remove from heat.
  5. Assemble the Breakfast Ring:
    • Pour the caramel sauce evenly over the layered biscuit pieces in the bundt pan.
    • Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top if using.
  6. Bake:
    • Place the bundt pan in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the biscuits are cooked through and golden brown on top.

  7. Serve:
    • Carefully invert the bundt pan onto a serving plate to release the sticky bun breakfast ring.
