Kitchen Equipment Needed:
– Large skillet or wok
– Tongs or spatula
– Medium saucepan (for noodles)
– Mixing bowls
– Whisk
– Measuring cups and spoons

—

### Ingredients:

**For the Teriyaki Sauce:**
– 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
– 1/4 cup mirin (or rice vinegar)
– 1/4 cup honey or brown sugar
– 2 tablespoons water
– 1 tablespoon cornstarch
– 1 teaspoon sesame oil
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon ger, minced

**For the Steak & Shrimp:**
– 1/2 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
– 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (divided)

**For the Noodles:**
– 8 oz noodles (udon, lo mein, or spaghetti)
– 1 tablespoon sesame oil (for tossing noodles)
– 1 cup bell peppers, thinly sliced
– 1 cup broccoli florets
– 1/4 cup green onions, sliced (for garnish)
– Sesame seeds (for garnish)

—

### Directions:

1. **Prepare the Teriyaki Sauce**:
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, mirin, honey (or brown sugar), minced garlic, ger, and sesame oil. In a separate bowl, mix the water and cornstarch until smooth, then stir it into the teriyaki mixture. Set aside.

2. **Cook the Noodles**:
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain, toss with 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, and set aside.

3. **Sear the Steak**:
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Season the thinly sliced steak with salt and pepper, and sear for 1-2 minutes per side until cooked to your liking. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.

4. **Cook the Shrimp**:
In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of oil and cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove from the pan and set aside with the steak.

5. **Stir-Fry the Vegetables**:
In the same skillet, add the bell peppers and broccoli. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.

6. **Combine and Add Sauce**:
Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour in the prepared teriyaki sauce and stir until everything is coated and heated through, about 2-3 minutes. If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of water to thin it out.

7. **Toss with Noodles**:
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing everything together until the noodles are evenly coated with sauce and mixed with the steak, shrimp, and vegetables.

8. **Serve**:
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy!
