  4. Mix Nuts: Quickly add the mixed nuts and chopped peanuts (if using) to the saucepan. Stir until the nuts are evenly coated with the candy mixture.
  5. Spread Candy: Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out evenly with a wooden spoon or spatula.
  6. Cool and Set: Allow the candy to cool completely at room temperature until it is firm and set.
  7. Break into Pieces: Once cooled, break the candy into bite-sized pieces and store in an airtight container.
