The combination of tender shrimp, roasted to perfection, with the rich, savory flavors of garlic and Parmesan makes this dish irresistible. It’s not too heavy, and the burst of lemon brightens the entire dish.

 

 

Whether served over pasta, on a salad, or alongside some crusty bread, it’s an easy way to impress your guests without spending hours in the kitchen. If you love shrimp and bold flavors, this dish is for you. Even if you’re not a fan of Parmesan, you can skip it, and the shrimp will still be wonderfully flavorful!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Directions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  2. Prepare Shrimp: In a large mixing bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, minced garlic, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper until all the shrimp are evenly coated.
  3. Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the shrimp in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure the shrimp are not overcrowded to ensure even roasting.
  4. Roast Shrimp: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 8-10 minutes or until the shrimp are pink, opaque, and cooked through. Stir halfway through for even cooking.
  5. Finish with Lemon and Parsley: Once the shrimp are done, remove them from the oven and immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice. Sprinkle with chopped parsley for extra freshness.
  6. Serve: Serve the garlic Parmesan roasted shrimp hot, with extra lemon wedges on the side. Enjoy with pasta, rice, or as a delicious appetizer!
