Crab & Cheese Filled Crescent Rolls are delightfully flaky pastries filled with a savory mixture of crab and creamy cheese. They’re not heavy or overly rich either. I think they’re a perfect appetizer or snack for any gathering, and if you’re not a fan of crab, feel free to substitute it with another seafood or even chicken.

They will still be undeniably delicious! If you’re looking for a light and savory treat that’s not overly complicated to make, you’ve come to the right place. When you combine the tender and flavorful crab meat with creamy cheese and wrap it all in a buttery crescent roll, you get the perfect appetizer. The addition of fresh herbs just sends it over the top. I’ve really been in the mood for fresh, easy-to-make appetizers, and these delightful rolls remind me of special occasions and gatherings. Not a fan of crab? Don’t worry, they’re still delicious with other fillings.

Kitchen Equipment Needed:

  • Baking sheet
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula or wooden spoon
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Knife

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 oz) package refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 (6 oz) can crab meat, drained and flaked
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: additional parsley for garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, green onion, parsley, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
    • Gently fold in the crab meat until evenly distributed.
  3. Assemble the Crescent Rolls:
    • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles as indicated by the perforations.
    • Place about 1 tablespoon of the crab and cheese mixture onto the wider end of each crescent roll triangle.
    • Starting at the wide end, roll up each triangle and place them on the prepared baking sheet, with the point side down.
  4. Bake the Rolls:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Serve:
    • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.

These Crab & Cheese Filled Crescent Rolls are a delightful and easy-to-make appetizer that’s perfect for any occasion. Enjoy the savory flavors and flaky pastry with your friends and family!
