Ingredients
  

For the Lemonade Base

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice Use fresh lemons for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 4 cups cold water Chill before use for best results.

For the Whipped Topping

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream Ensure it is well-chilled.
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar Add while whipping the cream.
  • a few drops pink food coloring (optional) For a pink hue.

For Garnish

Preparation of Lemonade Base

  • In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the cold water and mix.

Whipping the Cream

  • In a mixing bowl, add the heavy whipping cream. Using an electric mixer, whip the cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar while continuing to whip until you achieve firm peaks.

Coloring the Whipped Cream

  • If desired, add a few drops of pink food coloring to the whipped cream and gently fold it in until the color is uniform.

Combining and Serving

  • Pour the lemonade into serving glasses and top each glass generously with whipped cream. Optionally, garnish with lemon slices.

Notes

Best served fresh. If storing leftovers, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Remix before serving and top with freshly whipped cream.
