  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ cup butter
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

  • To start, heat the oven to 400°F (205°C).
  • Stir together olive oil, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  • Mix the chicken wings in the mixture until they are fully coated.
  • Place them on a baking sheet and bake until they become crispy and cooked through, which typically takes 25-30 minutes.
  • While the wings are in the oven, take the opportunity to make the sauce by heating the butter in a saucepan on medium heat.
  • Blend together the lemon juice, lemon zest, honey, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, onion powder, and paprika in a saucepan and stir until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
  • Let the sauce simmer over low heat for 5-10 minutes until it thickens and turns smooth.
  • Once done, remove the wings from the oven and coat them by tossing them in the sauce until they are evenly covered.
