  • 1/2 cup sour cream Halal

Flavoring Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

For Dipping

Preparation

  • Start by measuring out your yogurt and sour cream into a mixing bowl.
  • Combine the Greek yogurt and sour cream in a large bowl. Stir until well blended.
  • Sprinkle in the dill, chives, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasonings to taste.
  • Using a whisk or a spatula, mix everything together until smooth and creamy.
  • Cover the bowl and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Serve with assorted veggies on a platter.

Notes

Substitutions: Swap Greek yogurt for a plant-based alternative or add sriracha for a spicy twist. Timing: Let the dip sit for longer to enhance flavor. Avoid overmixing to maintain creaminess.
