Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 1.5 cups Graham cracker crumbs For the crust
  • 0.5 cups Unsalted butter, melted For the crust

For the filling

  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cups Peanut butter, smooth
  • 1 cups Powdered sugar For sweetness
  • 8 oz Cool Whip For a light and airy texture
  • optional Chocolate chips For garnish

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until they resemble wet sand. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a pie dish to form an even crust. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the peanut butter and powdered sugar, mixing until creamy and well combined.
  • Gently fold the Cool Whip into the peanut butter mixture, being careful not to deflate it too much.
  • Pour the peanut butter filling into the prepared crust and spread it evenly.
  • Cover the pie with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to let it set.
  • When ready, garnish with chocolate chips if desired, slice, and serve chilled.

Notes

For a smoother filling, ensure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature. You can use low-fat versions of cream cheese and Cool Whip to cut down on calories. Consider adding chopped peanuts on top for extra texture.
