  • Slowly pour in the milk while whisking, ensuring there are no lumps. Keep stirring until the mixture thickens (about 5-7 minutes).
  • Once thickened, reduce heat to low and mix in the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until the cheese has melted.
  • Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste, stirring well.
  • Pour the hot cheese sauce over crispy fries or use it as a dip.

Notes
