Ingredients
  

For the Casserole

  • 1 can 1 can of Halal biscuits (about 8 ounces)
  • 1 lb 1 lb. Halal breakfast sausage Can substitute with turkey or beef.
  • 6 large 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup 1 cup whole milk Keeps casserole moist.
  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the Halal breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart while cooking. Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Cut each biscuit into quarters.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and whole milk. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Assembly

  • In a greased casserole dish, layer the sausage, biscuit pieces, and shredded cheese.
  • Pour the egg mixture evenly over the top, making sure all biscuits are drenched.

Baking

  • Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh parsley, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze individual portions. Reheat in the oven at 350°F or microwave.
