  • 1 cup Sugar Adjust according to your sweetness preference.
  • 1/3 cup Butter, melted
  • 1 large Egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your loaf pan to prevent sticking.
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  • Stir in the melted butter, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring just until moistened;do not overmix.
  • Gently fold in the chopped walnuts, ensuring even distribution.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, use very ripe bananas. Toasting the walnuts enhances their flavor. Avoid overmixing for a tender texture.
