Main Ingredients

  • 9 oz refrigerated tortellini Choose high-quality tortellini for maximum flavor.
  • 2 cups marinara sauce Use a good quality sauce.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Feel free to mix with other cheeses for different flavors.
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Seasonings

  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste Salt Adjust according to preference.
  • to taste Pepper Adjust according to preference.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to package instructions, usually around 3-5 minutes.
  • Drain the tortellini and return them to the pot. Stir in the marinara sauce, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Baking

  • Spread half of the tortellini mixture into a greased baking dish, then sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan over the top. Add the remaining tortellini mixture on top.
  • Finish by layering the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top of the dish.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let it cool for a few moments and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freeze portions in freezer-safe bags for up to 2 months. Reheat in the microwave or oven, adding a splash of marinara to keep it moist.
