Ingredients

For the filling

  • 2 cans cresent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded turkey, cranberry sauce, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.
  • On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, gently unroll the crescent roll dough. Arrange the triangles in a circular shape, ensuring that their points face the center of the circle.
  • Spoon the turkey and cranberry mixture evenly onto the wide ends of the crescent dough triangles, leaving some space between each for folding.

Baking

  • Fold the points of the dough over the filling, tucking them underneath to create a circular shape, like a crown.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
  • Once out of the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley and let it cool for a few minutes. Slice, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

For ingredient substitutions, consider using rotisserie chicken or a vegetarian filling with mushrooms. Adding cheese can enhance the flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
