  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce Adjust to taste

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken Store-bought rotisserie chicken works great
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Reserve a small amount for topping later
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese Optional
  • 2 pieces green onions, chopped For garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and buffalo sauce. Mix until well combined.
  • Fold in the shredded cooked chicken, ensuring it is evenly coated with the mixture.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, reserving some for topping, and fold in crumbled blue cheese if using.
  • Pour the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the reserved cheddar cheese on top.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before garnishing with chopped green onions.

Serving

  • Serve with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or toasted baguette slices.

Notes

For storing, keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to four days. For reheating, warm in the oven at 350°F for 15 minutes or microwave in short bursts.
