Ingredients
  

For the Poppers

  • 8 slices turkey bacon
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cut each slice of turkey bacon in half.
  • Wrap each mozzarella cube with a half slice of turkey bacon and secure with a toothpick if necessary.
  • Place the wrapped poppers on a parchment-lined baking tray and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Bake the tray in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the turkey bacon is crispy and the cheese is melting.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before garnishing with fresh parsley.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in an oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 10 minutes.
