  • 4 fillets 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 4 tablespoons 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and let it warm up.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned. Remove from heat and mix in the fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley.
  • Generously season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the hot skillet with the skin side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy, then carefully flip them over.
  • Pour half of the garlic butter mixture over the fillets. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (62.8°C).

Serving

  • Once cooked, remove the salmon from the skillet, drizzle with the remaining garlic butter, and top with extra parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For Halal alternatives, choose sustainably sourced salmon. You can substitute dairy butter with vegan butter for a dairy-free option. If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for long-term storage.
