  • Optional toppings: Avocado, cilantro, or your favorite dips (hummus, tahini, etc.) Customize each wrap as desired.

Preparation

  • Start by slicing your halloumi cheese into thick pieces, aiming for about half an inch in thickness for that perfect crisp.
  • In a non-stick skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the slices of halloumi to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they're golden brown and charred.
  • Drizzle the sweet chili sauce over the cooked halloumi, ensuring each piece is coated, and let it sit for an additional minute to absorb the flavors.
  • Lay a flatbread on a plate, top it with the crispy halloumi, fresh vegetables, and any optional toppings you desire, and then roll it up tightly.
  • Enjoy your wraps warm, with extra sweet chili sauce or preferred dips on the side.

Notes

These wraps are best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes to retain crispiness.
