Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed Choose a ripe watermelon for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons) Freshly squeezed for the best taste.
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup Adjust for sweetness.
  • 2 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes For serving.

Optional Garnish

  • mint leaves For garnish, if desired.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cut the seedless watermelon into cubes. Remove any seeds if your watermelon isn’t seedless. Place the watermelon cubes in a blender.

Blending

  • Blend the watermelon on high speed until smooth. You may need to scrape down the sides a couple of times to ensure all pieces are blended.

Straining (Optional)

  • If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher. Use a spatula to press the juice through, leaving pulp behind.

Mixing

  • Add the fresh lemon juice, honey (or agave syrup), and cold water to the pitcher. Stir well until all ingredients are combined.

Adjusting Sweetness

  • Taste the lemonade, and adjust the sweetness if desired by adding more honey or agave syrup.

Serving

  • Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the watermelon lemonade over, and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Enjoying

  • Gather your loved ones, and enjoy this delightful drink on a warm summer day!

Notes

For optimal flavor, chill your ingredients beforehand and serve over ice. Store any leftovers in an airtight pitcher in the fridge for up to 3 days.
