This dessert is perfect for spring and summer gatherings, as it is light, refreshing, and easy to make. It's also a great way to impress guests without spending hours in the kitchen.
- 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream cold
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
In a bowl, mix the sliced strawberries with granulated sugar and let them macerate for 15 minutes.
In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
Gently fold the mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar into the whipped cream until smooth.
In a serving dish, layer the ladyfingers at the bottom, then half of the strawberry mixture, followed by half of the mascarpone mixture.
