Dressing Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil Extra virgin recommended
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar To taste
  • 1 teaspoon Honey (optional)

Preparation

  • Wash the spinach thoroughly and dry it using a salad spinner or paper towels. Hull and slice the strawberries, then set aside.

Toasting Almonds

  • In a small skillet over medium heat, add the slivered or chopped almonds. Toast them for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently until golden brown. Remove from heat and let cool.

Making the Dressing

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey (if using), salt, and pepper until well combined.

Combining Salad

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the spinach, sliced strawberries, toasted almonds, and feta cheese (if using). Drizzle the dressing over the top and gently toss everything together until evenly coated.
