Ingredients
  

For the Strawberry Puree

  • 2 cups Fresh Strawberries, hulled and chopped Use ripe, in-season strawberries for best flavor.
  • 1 cup Water

For the Lemonade Base

  • 1 cup Fresh Lemons, freshly squeezed juice Always opt for freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar Adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if needed.
  • 3 cups Water Add to the lemonade base after mixing.
  • Ice For serving.
  • Fresh Mint Leaves, optional For garnish.

Preparation

  • In a blender, combine the chopped strawberries with 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth and strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl to remove the pulp.
  • In a pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
  • Add the strawberry puree to the lemon mixture along with the remaining 3 cups of water. Stir well to combine and taste – adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if needed.

Serving

  • Fill glasses with ice, pour the strawberry lemonade over the ice, and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Enjoy immediately!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Give it a good stir before serving again, as the ingredients may settle.
