Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces beef steaks Opt for cuts like ribeye or sirloin for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half low-fat milk for a lighter option.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season generously.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Season the beef steaks generously with salt and pepper, ensuring both sides are well-coated.

Cooking the Steaks

  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks.
  • Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes depending on your desired doneness.
  • Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan for extra flavor. Let simmer for about 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Combining and Serving

  • Return the steaks to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them, and allow everything to simmer together for another minute.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

If using leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over low heat, adding a splash of cream if the sauce has thickened too much.
