Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz Noodles of your choice (rice noodles or egg noodles work great!)
  • 2 tablespoons Chili oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce (use tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 Green onions, sliced for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds for topping (optional)
  • to taste Vegetables of your choice (e.g., bell peppers, broccoli, or carrots)

Instructions

Cooking

  • Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the noodles and cook according to package instructions until they are al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet or wok, heat the chili oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant but not burnt.
  • Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, followed by soy sauce and sugar. Toss everything together gently, ensuring the noodles are evenly coated in the sauce.
  • If you’re including vegetables, add them now and stir-fry for an additional two to three minutes until they’re tender-crisp.
  • Once everything is well combined and heated through, serve the noodles warm, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
  • Dig in and experience the perfect balance of heat and flavor!

Notes

Customize your spice level by adjusting the chili oil. Freshly minced garlic is essential for flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
