Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 large turkey wings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika for extra flavor
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth for moisture and flavor
  • Fresh herbs (e.g., rosemary or thyme) optional for added aroma

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Rinse the turkey wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • In a large bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the dried turkey wings, ensuring they are well-coated with the seasoning mixture.
  • Transfer the seasoned wings into a baking dish and pour the chicken broth around them.

Cooking

  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 1.5 hours.
  • After 1.5 hours, remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes until the wings are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  • Let the wings rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Marinate the wings overnight for extra flavor, do not skip the broth for moisture, and broil for 2-3 minutes at the end for crispier skin. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
