Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sourdough starter, flour, softened butter, salt, garlic powder, and dried herbs. Stir until a dough forms.
  • If the dough is too dry, add a teaspoon of water at a time until the desired consistency is reached.

Shaping

  • Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the dough into a thin layer, about 1/8-inch thick.
  • Cut the rolled dough into desired shapes—squares, triangles, or any fun shapes you'd like.
  • Transfer the cut shapes to the prepared baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the crackers are crisp.
