  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar for topping

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined. Ensure there are no lumps.
  • In a separate small bowl, mix the brown sugar and a pinch of cinnamon.

Baking

  • Pour the cobbler batter into the prepared baking dish, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar topping evenly over the batter.
  • Bake the cobbler for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
