  • Begin by seasoning the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper for robust flavor.
  • Put the seasoned roast into the slow cooker, and surround it with the baby carrots and potato chunks.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ranch dressing mix, onion soup mix, and brown gravy mix with water.
  • Pour the mixture over the roast, ensuring it covers the meat and vegetables evenly.
  • Set your slow cooker to low and let it cook for 8 hours or on high for about 4 hours.
  • Once done, shred the beef with forks and serve it warm alongside the veggies and sauce.

Notes

For substitutions, consider using boneless chicken thighs or a lean cut of beef. Avoid lifting the lid during cooking to maintain temperature. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
