Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen meatballs 32 oz
  • 1 can pineapple chunks 20 oz, drained
  • 1 bottle barbecue sauce 18 oz
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch optional, for thickening
  • 1 tablespoon water optional, for thickening

Instructions

  • Plug in your slow cooker and set it to low heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is well combined.
  • Place the frozen meatballs and drained pineapple chunks into the slow cooker.
  • Pour the barbecue sauce mixture over the meatballs and pineapple, ensuring everything is well coated.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours, or until the meatballs are heated through and the flavors are well combined.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix the cornstarch and water in a small bowl to create a slurry. About 30 minutes before serving, stir the slurry into the slow cooker and let it cook for the remaining time.
  • Once the meatballs are cooked and the sauce is to your desired consistency, stir well and serve hot.
