Preparation

  • Season the chuck roast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned roast in the slow cooker and pour the beef broth over it.

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the beef is extremely tender.
  • Remove the beef from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
