Ingredients
  

Crêpe Batter

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (Halal-friendly)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Filling Options

  • to taste filling of your choice (fruits, yogurt, honey, etc.) Experiment with different fillings.

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar (if using), and salt.
  • Crack the eggs into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix gently.
  • Gradually add the milk while whisking to achieve a smooth, lump-free batter.
  • Stir in the melted butter into the batter.
  • Allow the batter to rest for about 15-20 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly coat it with butter.
  • Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter into the pan, swirling it for even coverage.
  • Cook for 1-2 minutes until edges lift and the bottom is lightly golden.
  • Gently flip the crêpe using a spatula and cook the other side for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Stack cooked crêpes on a plate and cover with a kitchen towel to keep warm.

Serving

  • Fill crêpes with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Notes

Crêpes can be made in advance and stored in an airtight container. They can be frozen for up to two months. Reheat in a skillet or microwave.
