Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 piece lemon (juiced and zested)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Season each chicken breast with salt and pepper on both sides.

Searing the Chicken

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until they’ve reached an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

Creating the Sauce

  • Lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and zest. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens slightly.

Combining Everything

  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, allowing it to simmer in the sauce for about 2-3 minutes.

Garnish and Serve

  • Transfer the chicken to a serving platter, drizzle with extra sauce, and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a lighter option, replace heavy cream with whole milk mixed with cornstarch. Monitor the chicken to avoid overcooking, and remember to zest before juicing the lemon.
