Preparation

  • In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit until frothy, about 5-10 minutes.

Rising

  • Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm area for about 30 minutes or until it doubles in size.

Baking

  • Spread the tomato sauce evenly across the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  • Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Add your desired toppings, then finish with the remaining cheese.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
