  • 1 tablespoon gelatin (optional, for thickening)

For the Strawberry Sauce

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup sugar adjust according to your sweetness preference
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • fresh mint for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, Greek yogurt, sugar, and vanilla extract. Use a whisk to blend until smooth and fully incorporated.
  • If using gelatin, dissolve it in a couple of tablespoons of warm water and mix it into the cream mixture.

Chill the Cream

  • Pour the cream mixture into serving glasses or bowls.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.

Make the Strawberry Sauce

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sliced strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.

Cool the Sauce

  • Remove the sauce from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Serve chilled for the best experience. Try adding a splash of almond extract or substituting strawberries with other berries to experiment with flavors.
