  • 1 pound Ground Chicken Use lean ground chicken for the best flavor and texture.
  • ½ cup Breadcrumbs Use plain or seasoned breadcrumbs.
  • 1 small Finely Chopped Onion Chop finely for better incorporation.
  • 3 cloves Minced Garlic Adjust garlic amount to taste.
  • ½ cup Feta Cheese Crumble feta cheese before adding.
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley Chopped parsley adds freshness.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Oregano Chopped fresh oregano preferred, or 1 teaspoon dried.
  • 1 large Egg Acts as a binder for the meatballs.
  • To taste Salt and Pepper Adjust according to taste.
  • For cooking as needed Olive Oil Use for greasing the baking sheet.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, feta cheese, parsley, oregano, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  • Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs, making about 18-20 meatballs.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
  • Arrange the meatballs evenly on the prepared baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until lightly golden and cooked through.
  • Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve with tzatziki sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Leftover meatballs can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
