  • Slice the lime in half and squeeze the fresh juice over the mixture.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the chicken is tender and easily shreds.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the slow cooker, shred it using two forks, and mix it back into the sauce.
  • Serve warm with your favorite sides or in tacos!

Notes
