Ingredients
  

Cheese Mixture

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled) adjust to taste

Breading

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese and cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the diced jalapeños.
  • Form the mixture into small balls or patties, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Set up a breading station with flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs in a third.
  • Coat each cheese ball in flour, dip into the egg, and finally roll in the breadcrumbs. Return to the baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with ranch dressing, salsa, or guacamole. These bites can be frozen before baking for later use.
