Ingredients

For the creamer

  • 1 cup heavy cream This rich dairy will give your creamer a luscious texture.
  • 1 cup milk Any milk of your choice, but whole or oat milk is recommended.
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree Use canned or homemade puree for rich flavor.
  • 1/2 cup sugar Adjust to taste; brown sugar can also be used.
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice A blend that usually contains cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds depth of flavor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract.
  • Warm the mixture over medium heat, stirring frequently until the sugar dissolves completely, about 5 minutes. Avoid boiling!
  • Taste and adjust the sweetness or spice levels as desired.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the creamer to cool to room temperature.
  • Pour the cooled creamer into a clean glass jar or container, seal tightly, and store it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

To keep the creamer fresh, store it in the refrigerator in a sealed container. It can be frozen in an ice cube tray for future use. For serving, enjoy it with pancakes, muffins, or desserts like spicy cake.
