Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound sirloin steak, thinly sliced Make sure to slice the steak very thin for the best texture.
  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 1 cup green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups cooked pasta Any pasta of your choice can be used.
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Use for cooking the steak and vegetables.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced steak and cook until browned.
  • Add the sliced onion and green bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cooked steak and vegetables, beef broth, and half of the provolone and mozzarella cheese.
  • Season with salt and pepper and stir everything well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with a side salad or garlic bread. You can garnish with fresh parsley for added color. Leftovers can be stored covered in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
