Ingredients
  

For the Peach Filling

  • 1 cup fresh peaches, peeled and diced Use ripe peaches for best flavor.
  • 3 tablespoons sugar Adjust according to peach sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Fresh lemon juice preferred.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon For added flavor.

For the Cruffins

  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough Use roll dough for easy prep.
  • ½ cup melted butter For brushing the cruffins.
  • ½ cup chopped nuts Optional for added crunch.
  • Powdered sugar For dusting, optional.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the diced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Allow them to sit for about 10 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or spray it with non-stick spray.
  • Unroll the crescent dough on a clean surface, pinching the seams together to create a single sheet of dough.

Assembly

  • Cut the dough into triangles. Place a spoonful of the peach mixture at the wider end of each triangle and roll it up gently.
  • Dip each rolled cruffin in melted butter before placing it upright in the muffin tin.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
  • Allow cooling slightly before dusting with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Can be stored at room temperature for 2-3 days.
